MAC: Peony Petal blush

I always wanted to try something from MAC (cosmetic brand, of course), just to make sure, if I’m really missing something out or not. My choice was a blush, because I adore blushes and they can be in use longer than lipsticks for example. Decision over a shade was a bit hard; there are just too many colors available. I finally picked up ˝Peony petal˝. It is bright, satin pink with blue undertones and looks natural and more matte on my quite pale cheeks. It gives me that soft, porcelain doll like look. I wore it entire winter and I will gladly continue to wear it during spring. The pigmentation is not very good, but buildable. I like this, because you can’t overdue it. Blush is nicely buttery and blends very well. I apply it with flat stippling brush to show up more.

I just hope I have original product, it was bought on Ebay. Anyway I like the color and is quite long lasting, but I’m not super impressed. I don’t believe it’s worth the price, only if you really want to buy particular, unique shade that no other cheaper brand is having.

The packaging is not spectacular, classic black plastic. I mean its ok and quality made, but standard, and a bit boring like mostly products from MAC. As I mentioned before, on my wish list was blush shade ˝Full of joy˝ for a long time, but now I seriously doubt I’ll buy it. Maybe I’ll give brand another try with single eyeshadows, but otherwise MAC is just not worth the attention and position in beauty world that is having.
