BOURJOIS – a word I can never remember how to
spell. It's been a while since I bought something from them, but it used to be
my favorite fancy drugstore brand. It used to be in ˝sisterhood˝ with Chanel,
so there still might be some similarities, but I’m not sure. I had some big
disappointments with their under eye concelaers, so because of that I decided
to leave this brand alone for a while.
Their new collection recently caught my eye, so
I forgive them their bad products and I’m ready to try new ones. They launched
duo blushers in three shades – blush and bronzer in that famous little pot and
a strober, which ended in my shopping bag.
Strober comes in one, universal shade - Universal glow, which
supposed to be flattering for all skin tones. I would describe this as light
golden with some silver shimmer added. It is light color, but buildable, which
is great when it comes to easily overdoing products. It is delicately shimmery.
It has quite strong floral smell, I believe it is typical for Bourjois
products, but it fades away quickly. I thought this shade will be more on
silvery side; sadly it turned up to be more like a dupe for my strobbing cream
from Artdeco, but not as longlasting.
This is baked product so it’s more fragile and
can be dusty. I don’t have a special brush for highlighting (not just yet, but
things can quickly change), so I apply it with different types of brushes and
also with my fingers. Usually I highlight my cheekbones and under brow bones,
sometimes I put some shimmer on my eyelids.
I like the packaging, it is so cute. Little pot
contains a small brush, which is somehow rough and unpractical and a mirror,
also too small. Put the intention counts, so it’s a plus. So if you’re looking
for a light champagne shade, drugstore option highlighter, this is highly
recommended. Shy at first, but stronger if you want to.
great reviw of this, thank you youa re awesome
