After my post about green color and orange wishes, it's time to focus on red. I just recently bought my first red eye shadow and I was stunned how much I like it. It's not just for bolder smoky eye looks, but can be a really nice refreshment in soft nude everyday makeup. Red strongly reminds my on fall, but it is also a strong, statement summer color. A true mood uplifter, just give if a chance. Here a short selection of things in red that recently caught my eye. It's partly a wish list, but things can change rapidly, you know :)
Splendida Magnolia Sensuel by Bvlgari (2018) - gorgeous bottle, but I haven't try it yet. According to reviews, it would not really be something I strongly like. And I'm also not planning to buy a new fragrance, but surely I'll try it as soon as I can. Mango leather mini shopper bag - from the pictures I saw, it's a perfection. and for my excuse, I don't own a bag in this color. It might just be mine someday soon, but I need to check it out in person first. Pictures from Mango can be misleading. Chanel mono eyeshadow in ˝Desert rouge˝ - metallic shade, sheer but buildable. Really nice change from boring nudes.
HM cotton top with floral embroidery - this off shoulder trend is a big thing now. I like tops that can be worn both way - traditional or so called cold shoulder. Embroidery gives that ethnic look, which I also love, still from the last year's season. Charkes M. Relax and follow Snoppy! Lazzarini flat velvet red sandals - I saw them on sale in Humanic the other day and they immediately caught my eye. They are simple, but have that something special. And red shoes are somehow very versatile, pop of color never hurts.
