Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse Boost

Prodigieuse boost is newer line from well know French brand Nuxe. It was presented in the late summer last year, but in our country just recently. This line is targeted towards women in their late 20s to early 40s to fight first signs of ageing, fight oxidative stress and pollution from environment. Creators searched for inspiration in popular Korean beauty.

I have mostly good experiences with Nuxe, but hate their cult product - dry oil. Most of their creams are very perfumed and these are not exception, so if strong smell bothers you, do try testers first. Aroma is nice, quite girly – think about white flowers bathing heavy sugar. I bought two products from new line, eye balm and energising primer, which quickly became my favorite.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with eye creams and even built my mini collection. I must say this is not the best one. First of all I don’t like the packaging. It is nice to look at and seems practical, but sometimes the pump simply doesn’t work. It can be so annoying. Eye balm has medium, slightly watery consistency and is not greasy enough for my needs. It is nicely refreshing, but not worth the price. You can find better in drugstore.

Here is the list of ingredients:
AQUA/WATER, ALCOHOL DENAT., DIMETHICONE, GLYCERIN, SODIUM ACRYLATES COPOLYMER, CORYLUS AVELLANA (HAZEL) SEED OIL, OCTYLDODECANOL, LECITHIN, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, PHENOXYETHANOL, DIMETHICONOL, TOCOPHEROL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, CAFFEINE, RIBOSE, SODIUM GLUCONATE, DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, SODIUM HYALURONATE, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, JASMINUM OFFICINALE (JASMINE) FLOWER EXTRACT, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, MICA, CI 77491/IRON OXIDES, CALENDULA OFFICINALIS FLOWER EXTRACT, FAEX EXTRACT/YEAST EXTRACT [N3901/A]

Energising primer is a different story to me. It is my unexpected favorite skincare product and additional step in my daily routine. I use it every night after cleansing and before I put on my regular moisturizer. It doesn’t make me greasier, so this is a huge plus. It supposed to be full of antioxidants, so it’s nice to have a feeling that you’re doing something good for your skin. It has so pleasant cooling effect and makes you feel so fresh. Formula is very watery and becomes sticky when you apply it, but that doesn’t bother me. One pump is enough for my entire face and neck. Yes, this is first time that I pay some attention to my neck also, shame on me. Packaging is very nice and practical; the bottle contains 100ml and will last me for quite some time. I would highly recommend this for some extra pampering if you only use your basic moisturizer, but you’re not into serums.
