This vacation I’m going to play with some new products I just ordered and of course, do some testing at the same time. I am really excited about that because I love discovering new things and write about them later. I am not afraid that they would completely let me down, I trust them enough, all are from reputable French brands.
Let’s see which novelties I’m bringing with me:
Vichy Mineral 89 fortifying and plumping daily booster – I heard so many good things about this and I finally ordered a mini size just to try it for the summer. This serum is packed with mineralizing water and hyaluronic acid and I think it will be great using it in the evening as some kind of after-sun treatment. Some special care for calming my skin down and just pamper it with moisture. It has a cooling effect too which is perfect. I love the bottle, it is heavy and feels expensive (but I got it on sale).
La Roche Posay Anthelios Anti- imperfections corrective gel-cream SPF 50 - I’m really having a hard time finding the perfect daily moisturizer with SPF for my oily T-zone. Everything I try is too greasy and causes me breakouts. I am partly happy with La Roche Posay’s Anthelios shaka fluid with SPF 50, but it is not the best, I think I can find better inside the same range. When I saw this, I immediately knew I need to give it a try. If they are ˝relatives˝ and this is a light gel with salicylic acid in it, it could be perfect. They claim it has long-lasting shine control and that it targets existing imperfections. We’ll see.
NUXE – after sun hair&body shampoo
I love Nuxe, because their products are so richly scented and often feel so luxurious to use – not all of them, but the majority. I find it practical for traveling because it is – 2 in 1, so I don’t need to bring an extra shampoo for my hair and showering gel. It gently removes residues of chlorine, salt, and sun creams from your skin and hair. I already know that it smells divine and apparently, the scent stays on your skin long after showering.
