If you are looking for an all-year-round fragrance that is sweet, slightly gourmand, but still sophisticated at the same time, that this is the one you should give it a try. This is not a new fragrance, it has been on the market since 2012.
Pour femme by Dolce&Gabanna opens up with a strong blast of mandarin blossom which is simply amazing, but quite intense. After a few minutes, when this settles down, we get to the heart of the fragrance – powdery marshmallow with a hint of vanilla and some white flowers in the background.
This is my second bottle and I have been more than happy with it. It ˝behaved˝ great even at the peak of the summer, it was not overwhelming. Also, it is very office-friendly and although it is sweet, you will not leave a bad impression, because it has some old-school qualities.
On my skin, it is very long-lasting.
Here are the notes, found on Fragrantica:
TOP NOTES: raspberry, neroli, mandarin orange
MIDDLE NOTES: orange blossom, jasmine
BASE NOTES: marshmallow, vanilla, sandalwood, heliotrope
The only downside about this fragrance is the packaging, it is apparently made out of low-quality materials. The golden top of the bottle got green and black spots after just two months of use. That usually happens after some years if so. That is not crucial when choosing a fragrance, but looks ugly. My previous bottle was the same and I always both this from an official retailer. On the other side, they splurged on the box and made it out of paper with imitation of velvet which, combined with golden letters, looks stunning.
