Creating simple nude look

This is my go-to no makeup-makeup weekend look. It is quick and very easy to do, I mainly focus on my most problematic areas and skip all that unnecessary fuss. Let’s dive into it:

First thing – I rarely wear a proper foundation, but I’m a huge fan of BB, CC creams, and all possible hybrid variations. BB cream from Erborian is one of the best, I’m using a travel-sized one in the shade nude. It offers sheer coverage, but makes your skin tone more even and nicer and also takes away all the excess shine.

Very important – under eye area. If I could choose only one makeup product it would definitely be a good under-eye concealer. Under-eye area is the most problematic for me, so I always focus on it. Glasses can hide some darkness, but not always. One of the best concealers I found is Boi-ing brightening concealer by Benefit. It offers medium coverage in a very flattering, almost salmon-like shade no. 02.

Another gem comes from Benefit, it is their Hoola lite bronzer. This is the only bronzer I like and it is very flattering on paler skin tones. It adds that little warmth that makes you look more alive.

Something fancy from Chanel – another shimmery bronzing powder or as it is called in the original, Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Ensolleillee in medium light. This is the most flattering nude highlighter I ever used. I love it, it provides just that right amount of glow, so it’s my go-to highlighter. When I’m creating similar nude looks, I also use it as barely-there eye shadow.

Mascara -

I recently got a sample of this new Macstack mascara by Mac and I don’t like it. I only did two coats – nothing special, and it smudged all over the place quite fast.

Lipstick – my new nude amplified Mac lipstick Half ‘N Half. I would describe this as a light brown shade with a satin finish. I think that this shade is a great match for me. The formula is amazing, super comfortable, and very long-lasting.
