Top beauty finds of 2022

Hello gorgeous reader and welcome to the first blog post of the year 2023! Today I’m going to quickly present you my favorite beauty items purchased in the past year, so let’s dive into my list.

Braun FS 1000 face epilator – this little helper made such a difference for me because I was used to doing my ˝routine˝ with my regular razor which was not very practical and just too big. I use it on my upper lip, between my eyes, and on my nose. It is super-fast, compact, affordable, and travel-friendly. Just make sure to generously moisturize your skin after using it and you’ll be fine

Last year I found my perfect daily moisturizer with SPF – Urban Environment Age Defense by Shiseido. This is super light for my oily skin and almost works as a primer. I was a little skeptical about SPF 30, but many articles say that 30 is high enough for every day, you just need to reapply regularly. Definitely my holy grail!

Take the day off cleansing balm from Clinique is one of the best makeup removers out there. I was glittery products and even mascara because I hated the removal process in the evening, but now I don’t need to do that. This removes everything without a mess and heavy effort.

Instant Anti-age perfector 4in1 by Mabelline is such an easy and even fun product to use. It is basically a mousse that adapts to your skin tone just perfectly. It works like a tinted primer with a blurring effect and instantly gives you that polished matte, but still very natural-looking finish. It provides light coverage and works great on oily skin.

MAC Flowerescent Glow Play blush – this was LE, but there is a trustable dupe for it from the same line – shade Totally Synched. So it is a very cool toned pink, almost lavender shade which I think is harder to find. These colors are way more present in the Asian market. Glow Play blushes have this unique ˝bouncy˝ texture, they are cream blushes that turn into powder. Anyway, this shade always gives that fresh look to my pale cheeks and I love it.

And here we have another LE, but this one is still available – this is a powder brush from The Disney Villains collection by Essence. This big fluffy brush works and feels like a dream and is super affordable (and nice looking).

Eyebrow Cream Powder by She Stylezone (dm) – brow powder in a pen that looks very natural and flattering. It is long-lasting, very practical to use, and affordable. This instantly became a staple in my daily makeup routine, because brows meke make such a difference.

2022 was surely a great year for nail polish because I managed to find three outstanding shades. The first one is my latest purchase and also my greatest love – Decked To The Pines (OPI). Metallic green that almost sings Christmas songs. The middle one is super trendy - Opalescent (Anny), this works more like a topper, because it is very sheer. And the last one is beautiful pearly matte white – Snow Day in LA (OPI).

The last thing on my list is a fragrance - Lei by Emporio Armani. I wore this many years ago and it was my big love, but now I appreciate it even more. This is very cozy, but cold powdery vanilla with sandalwood and a bit of a male accent.
