Caudalie Resveratol Lift serum review

Caudalie Resveratol Lift serum – a few weeks ago I included this serum as a permanent part of my skincare routine and now I finally collected some thoughts about it. I am not an expert in skincare ingredients, so this is completely an amateur’s point of view.

As I understand, resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant, it is mostly found in the skins of grapes and can be used for many things, including skincare. It is known for its anti-aging properties and it is apparently two times more effective than retinol. And because all this sounds so great, and I had a wonderful experience with retinol, of course, I had to try it.

I use this as a part of my night-time regimen because I don’t like to use it for the day. It is light-weight, slightly watery, and quite fast-absorbing serum, appropriate for my mixed type skin, but it leaves some kind of sticky radiant finish that is not compatible with my foundation. I just can’t blend it out evenly.

It has an herbal, mostly nettle smell (I believe it is common for the entire line of products) which is not very pleasant to my nose but is goes away quickly.

Although it is light, I sometimes wake up with a greasy T-zone in the morning, but otherwise, it leaves my skin super soft and more awake.

The packaging is practical, compact and eye-appealing.

CONCLUSION: I like this serum and see some improvement on my skin. As I said, my skin is softer and looks healthier the next day. But my all-time favorite anti-aging serum still strongly remains – Retinol Ceramide line erasing night serum in capsules. That one is a dream.
