CAUDALIE: Vinosource-Hydra Moisturizing Mask review

I am not a huge fan of facial masks, but every now and then I like to pamper my skin a bit and give it that something special.  I bought this  Vinosource-Hydro mask from Caudalie  for the second time now. In the meantime, it received some ˝updating˝ and now comes in more inviting, bright pink packaging and a higher price tag. Anyway it is still one of the best and here are my reasons why: Practical tube (fully recyclable) – you just apply the amount you need, there is no waste and overreacting with the application, because you would need to use a certain amount A little goes a long way – I find it quite thick and rich, but not oily Appropriate for oily and sensitive skin You can apply it under your eyes or on your eyelids, which I find super useful Very lightly scented (it smells like clay, mixed with cream to me) Nicely softens and moisturizes the skin Easy to wash off Natural ingredients This product often saved my skin, especially my eyelids from that terrible winter r...

Caudalie Resveratol Lift serum review

Caudalie Resveratol Lift serum  – a few weeks ago I included this serum as a permanent part of my skincare routine and now I finally collected some thoughts about it. I am not an expert in skincare ingredients, so this is completely an amateur’s point of view. As I understand, resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant, it is mostly found in the skins of grapes and can be used for many things, including skincare. It is known for its anti-aging properties and it is apparently two times more effective than retinol. And because all this sounds so great, and I had a wonderful experience with retinol, of course, I had to try it. I use this as a part of my night-time regimen because I don’t like to use it for the day. It is light-weight, slightly watery, and quite fast-absorbing serum, appropriate for my mixed type skin, but it leaves some kind of sticky radiant finish that is not compatible with my foundation. I just can’t blend it out evenly. It has an herbal, mostly nettle smell (I believe...

Caudalie: Vinoclean instant foaming clenser

When it comes to facial cleansing products, I am very picky and you should be too because we have plenty to choose from. They need to be gentle, but of course effective and also very important – they need to smell great. This may sound superficial, but it’s true. I like products that smell great! I got  Vinoclean instant foam clenser by Caudalie  in a gift set, it is in 50ml travel size. It comes in a simple, but elegant packaging, typical for the brand.  It is gentle, so I use it for my second cleaning if I’m wearing makeup, but still strong enough for a regular wash of my often-oily skin. It does not irritate or dry out my skin (nor eyes), which is a huge plus, so it is a great choice for sensitive skin. At first, I found foamy consistency a bit strange, because it is not a compact foam like I am used to it from other types of products, but now I love it. This product was a great traveling companion. It did a great job removing my heavy SPF products on holiday, so that ...

Summer morning skincare routine

Hello there and welcome to my blog! This time I’m going to briefly describe my morning skincare routine. My summer days start super early because I need to be at the office at 6 AM.  During hot months I like to use refreshing and cooling products to wake me up and make me feel better. It’s my little ritual and I love it. Hope you’ll find something to add to your morning care. Step 1  – in the morning I always clean my face with micellar water from Caudalie. It is gentle, but effective and has a light herbal tea-like scent. Step 2  – occasionally, when I feel super tired and look like a real mess, I like to use anti-age cooling under-eye pads from Balea. They are quite good and affordable, but I’m thinking about replacing them with some kind of face roller. That would be an even cheaper and more permanent solution and most of all could be used every morning. Step 3  - a good face mist is a must for me, the one I like the most is again from Caudalie, their iconic beaut...

Caudalie: Vinosource mattifying fluid & famous Beauty elixir

Hot summer days and stifling office create ideal conditions for testing matifying and other products for oily skin with big promises. A few months ago I was using Bioderma’s pore refiner from their sebium line, but didn’t make a review, because it supposed to be discontinued. I’m not sure about that, but that moisturizer was not the best choice for me during winter, because it was too aggressive. I wanted to try something more natural and of course really effective. I was even prepared to spend a bit more money for good products, because greasy face is not attractive at all. I always feel it gives unprofessional, stressful, sweaty and distracted impression of person. Similar is with messy brows, but I’ll write about that some other time.   Beauty community recommended Caudalie . Their cosmetic is natural, with high quality ingredients. I know the brand and own some of their products. So I bought Vinosource moisturizing matfifying fluid for 28€ (tube contains 40ml). ...

Hair talk

Today I’ll write about my hair and favorite hair products. Ma hair is dark brown, quite thick, shoulder long and partly curly. I mean curly in a bad way. Sometimes it looks like a big mess, but I would be very modern in the 80s. And oh boy if it’s foggy outside, nothing can help. I often wear a ponytail, what I know it’s not a very good idea. It also gets oily super fast at scalp, dry at the ends, especially when it’s straightened. Another problem that I’m dealing with is gray hairs. I color them every 3 months or so. I got the best results when I colored them myself at home. I was never very happy when my hairdresser dyed them. First time, the color was too weak and didn’t color grays, and then second time my hair become orange-red (mostly on outgrown part) instead dark brown. I’m most satisfied with all types of colors from L’oreal and the brand which I can’t stand is Syoss. Tomorrow I’m going to the hairdresser to cut my and I’m a bit nervous. I know changes are good, but I simpl...
