CAUDALIE: Vinosource-Hydra Moisturizing Mask review

I am not a huge fan of facial masks, but every now and then I like to pamper my skin a bit and give it that something special.

I bought this Vinosource-Hydro mask from Caudalie for the second time now. In the meantime, it received some ˝updating˝ and now comes in more inviting, bright pink packaging and a higher price tag. Anyway it is still one of the best and here are my reasons why:

  • Practical tube (fully recyclable) – you just apply the amount you need, there is no waste and overreacting with the application, because you would need to use a certain amount
  • A little goes a long way – I find it quite thick and rich, but not oily
  • Appropriate for oily and sensitive skin
  • You can apply it under your eyes or on your eyelids, which I find super useful
  • Very lightly scented (it smells like clay, mixed with cream to me)
  • Nicely softens and moisturizes the skin
  • Easy to wash off
  • Natural ingredients

This product often saved my skin, especially my eyelids from that terrible winter rash I used to get often. I find this mask very unique by the fact, that is suitable for the eye area. It is the only face mask I found with this benefit so far.

But otherwise, it is a quite basic moisturizing product. Don’t expect anything ground-breaking. Maybe it will be even too light for extra dry skin.
