My top 5 most used makeup brushes

My collection contains quite a few makeup brushes, but I mostly use just a few of them. My eyes are often on a hunt for new ones and not because I would actually need them, but because they look nice. Sounds familiar? By the way, are you familiar with that giant face polish brush from Shiseido? See how my mind works? Here is my top 5 most used makeup brushes: Zoeva bamboo 234 Smoky shader  – this is a very versatile smaller eye brush with medium density. Probably I reach for it the most because it stands out with its design – a combination of golden steel and bamboo wood and I grab it first. It has quality, synthetic bristles and has been in use for at least three years now without any complaint. Sigma E39 Buff and blend  – this is a bit bigger, soft, and fluffy brush. It is great for blending or applying highly pigmented or overly glittery shadows when you don’t want to use too much. It has a classical Sigma design and synthetic hair. PUPA Milano: Vamp! Volume mascara 400 Amethyst violet

Do you remember when colored mascaras were in? I believe it was somewhere in the early 2000s, Maybelline had a whole palette of Great lash mascaras and according to Google, they were quite intensely pigmented. I also remember images of princes Diana and her blue mascara in the 80s, but that was another era. I am not a giant mascara lover, because I have sensitive eyes, but I wanted to try something new and different and  Vamp volume mascara from PUPA  had my attention immediately. My selection was, at first sight very vibrant  violet  shade. This one seemed to look the most ˝natural˝. Well, I like green as well, but green lashes? Not that much. And there was also a blue option. Of course, I was skeptical about it. Can this be even worn outside a nightclub? And where may I ask can I go dancing during this endless pandemic? The violet shade is very subtle and discreet, you can slightly build it up by applying more coats, but I don’t like that. The formula is ok, nothin...

Lookbook: Radiate your self love

We are rapidly approaching Valentine's day, but this look was inspired by a different kind of love that is often forgotten - self-love. But that does not necessarily mean to be selfish or narcissistic it is more your respect for yourself. So what do you like to wear when you feel really good about yourself? Do you like to dress up and add something fancy? This is my modest selection of things I would choose to celebrate myself and just go somewhere to have some me-time. JEANS: Wrangler, In the clouds skinny jeans RING: Zlatarna Celje, Phantasy Butterfly, gold collection SHIRT: Vila Vichikka blouse BAG: Tommy Hilfiger soft satchel bag in salmon (on SALE now) SHOES: Gioseppo trainers Stiefing camouflage

Shopping mind map or my money goes to...

What you can see here is not another fashion collage, but some kind of my shopping mind map. Or should we call this shopping vision board? Is this even similar according to modern definitions? Anyway, this is the list of things I want potentially buy in near future and I decided to share it with you.  Pip studio royal porcelain tray  – from time to time I like to bake and I want to present and serve my food in style. I found this tray on Coincasa website and I hope I will be able to purchase it in their store or find something similar. This one has a bit unique combination of traditional pattern on the edge and modern center and that is what attracted me the most.  Now let’s move right to the red velour  Guess tracksuit jacket  – I am not entirely convinced by the fit because it seems to be quite short, but we’ll see. I am still obsessed with velour as you will also notice on my next item. Recently I’ve been much more into casual and sporty, comfortable style an...

Kerastase: Discipline shampoo review

I guess this week will be entirely dedicated to Kerastase, because here’s another review of their product. My hair can be super frizzy sometimes, so when I ran out of my regular shampoo, I decided to splurge on Kerastase discipline . For some reason I always think that it is called disciplinique, it sounds better :) This line of products was often recommended to me and has brilliant reviews, but when it comes to shampoo, I was always more attracted by cheaper brands. Let’s do this the old-school way and just get to the point. PROS: ·          feels and smells super luxurious, it gives you that hair-spa experience ·          makes your hair soft and smooth ·          reduces frizz ·          appealing packaging CONS: ·          a bit heavy for hair that gets oily fast · ...

Kerastase: Fresh Affair dry shampoo review

I am not a big user of dry shampoos, but from time to time they can be really handy. My hair gets oily quite fast and sometimes I need that boost of freshness and volume, even if I just put it in a ponytail, it instantly makes me feel better. I have good experiences with drugstore dry shampoos, like Batiste and Colab, but I found them quite aggressive sometimes. Maybe I was just using them wrong or too often.  I decided to try something different and more expensive because I was curious what exactly can a fancy hair product do.  Kerastase Fresh Affair dry shampoo  –  it is kind to your hair and scalp, enriched with vitamin E, rice starch, and neroli oil. It is a lightweight fine powder spray that doesn’t leave a white residue, it instantly absorbs excess oil and leaves you with a clean feeling and fresh scent. PROS: gentle to my scalp, it never gets itchy afterward gives you that cool and refreshed feeling very fine mist doesn’t leave white traces long-lasting, gradu...
