Petrichor Beauty - reviews, style and overthinking

Today I would like to quickly show you my currently most loved lipstick –  Modesty by MAC Cosmetics . It is surely one of those so-called ˝my lips but better˝ lip shades but leans more towards pink on me. I believe it has just that right amount of pink and brown and looks flattering on my pale face. I hardly find something that suits me, I guess I am not a big lipstick person. Modesty  comes in cremesheen formula, which is really super creamy, moderately pigmented, semi-shiny, and very comfortable to wear. It is quite long-lasting but without surpluses.  These pictures don’t do justice to the color, because in person it looks way more like a medium mauve shade. Anyway, if you’re looking for that effortless everyday shade that will enrich your look, this is the shade to check out. It might look shy but doesn’t look boring.

Although I’m not that much into lip products, especially now, when we are hiding our smiles behind the masks anyway, I decided to order myself a new lipstick. And not any kind of lipstick, but believe it or not, my first MAC lipstick. Yes, I’ve been hiding under the rock this whole time. Kinda sexy is light pechy-pink nude matte shade. I would say it is more suitable for lighter skin tones, but of course, that is only a matter of taste. This is something out of my comfort zone, but I like it and I believe it will get a lot of my attention and love. It gives me that pop of color and makes me look more alive, also I was looking for something ˝bolder˝. What do you think?  The formula is surprisingly long-lasting and comfortable to wear. This color itself is not super opaque and it is slightly patchy when looking from closely, but I think this is often a staple character of a mat lipstick.
