Monthly favorites list

I cannot believe that another month just flew by so fast. When did all this happen? And what is up with this crazy weather? Nature get yourself together please and act normal! Just kidding… It is time for another monthly favorites. My selection is not as versatile as it was a month ago, but still, worth to check it out. Let’s get started! Do you hate when your hair gets that annoying build-up? You wash it regularly, but it still feels and looks somehow waxy, maybe even sticky? Here is your simple and practical solution –  Apple Cider Vinegar Blend Shampoo from Aveeno . This is a drugstore shampoo with vinegar that deeply but gently cleans your hair and leaves it super soft and shiny. It smells like sweet apples, so there is no sign of vinegar and you will surely get rid of that nasty build-up. Although it is gentle, I would still recommend it for occasional use.  The next product is good and old  Reve de Miel face cleansing get from Nuxe . I love it because it is so gentl...

S-he Stylezone Eyebrow Cream Powder

Every now and then our makeup routine changes. I guess we love to redirect our focus to different areas and consequently different products. Mine somehow went into ˝emphasizing˝ my brows mode. I put the word emphasizing in quotation marks because only I can see them as bold after using this product I’m going to mention shortly. Well, you’ll see that in the pictures… I was tired of my old, dry often useless brow pencil and wanted to try something different, something that will look good and natural. Then I bought this with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. S-he Stylezone   eyebrow cream powder –  is a long-wearing powder for brows in pen with a sponge tip applicator. This is the best and most affordable brow product I have ever had. It works like a dream to me. I bought it in the darker  shade 001 . You can apply it with lighter swipes for a softer look or build up the color for a bolder appearance. With light tapping, you can easily fill in those blank a...

Seasonal wish list... or something like that

After a long time, I managed to pull together a smaller, but still expensive list of things that I want to purchase in the near future. There’s always something on my mind, but if that thing goes away after a few weeks… that is a clear sign that in was just a phase of something. You probably understand what I’m talking about. Let’s get started! I truly need one elegant, better-quality pajama. The majority of what I own looks so pathetic and cheap. I found this elegant one called  Flamenco  with lace details in  Lisca . I don’t like its maintenance tag, but I’m willing to put some effort into it.  Primavera  bag by  Furla  caught my attention immediately. It is the perfect size shoulder bag made of jacquard that stands out a bit but still fits into the minority of outfits I wear. Stunning and interesting. White chocolate ganache  small candle by  DW Home candles  – this sounds like perfection. I love white chocolate, my only concern is th...

Mini photo story: Hedgehogs and pumpkins

Lookbook: Autumnal punk princess

I always strongly believed that brown and black belong together and can create an impression of confidence, power, and soft felinity at the same time. This is exactly what I wanted to show with this look – boldness and fragility and the same time, which is sexy and inviting. Ok, this was overreacting, let’s go to the point. The centerpiece is this long and girly dress with butterflies, but the color makes it way more serious, even sad. It reminds me of transience and changes in nature. It is true autumn, caught in a dress. As a contrast, I selected strong black accessories that add this softness an edgier note and round the whole outfit just beautifully. DRESS: Red Valentino BAG: Zara EARRINGS: Swarovski SHOES: Hogl

PINKO: Love Birds belt in dark green

I had my eyes on Love Birds belts from Pinko for at least two years. At first, I wanted to buy thin, brown, more classic-like belt, then it was purple and finally, I bought a ˝bolder˝ dark green one. Why? Because I liked it the most. So this is a 4 cm version in the size M. Yes, it is wide, but I also tried thinner ones and didn’t like them so much. The belt it originally designed to be worn on your waist, but I rarely wear something like this, so I decided to go a size up and wear it, lover, with my jeans. I didn’t want to buy something that will just collect dust in my closet, but an accessory that will be worn more often. How can I otherwise justify its price? This shade might look a bit off in some pictures, it is not that bright in person, it is darker green. I find it quite versatile and can easily fit into my casual outfits and co-work with my bags. I often wear it with simple pieces, like shown in the pictures, it upgrades my look without being too much.  Because it is wide...

Perfect shade for fall: MAC Fast Play lipstick

Now, it’s officially the right time to wear a bit deeper shades of lipstick and create berry-inspired looks. But I believe that is always time to wear what you like. Fast Play  by Mac is not a very popular shade, but it has very famous ˝siblings˝ like Mehr and Cosmo. It is a part of an amplified line with a super comfortable and highly pigmented creamy formula with a semi-shine finish. I would describe it as quite warm-toned medium mauve. The shade looks very dark at the packaging, but once applied it is not that bold at all. It completely falls under my shy girl comfort zone category. The only downside is that is not very long-lasting, but otherwise, I like it a lot. This shade is very flattering on paler skin tones and it’s a great choice when you want something more noticeable, but still sophisticated.

Monthly favorites list

Hello and welcome! Today on our schedule – good old monthly favorites. Do YouTubers still do this? It used to be a thing a few years ago, but now… It doesn’t matter, let’s do this! September favorites. I can’t believe we’re already in October now! Ok, I selected five things that I’ve really been enjoying in the past month. My old friend  Chrystal Noir edt  by Versace is in my humble opinion the best coconut fragrance out there. I tried everything, from Tom Ford to Alien Goddess and they were all a huge and expensive disappointment for me. This one is smooth, creamy coconut, surrounded by white florals and a hint of spices. A perfect transitional fragrance from summer to fall. Elegant, but young and always appropriate. I own quite a lot of fragrances, but this one remains a staple in my collection. I had my eyes on this  mug  at the  Muller drugstore  for some time, and then I finally decide to buy it. I mean we have a lot of mugs at home and definitely didn...
