Color code #mykindofgreen

Today I wanted to made something fun and different. Lately I've been obsessed with green color, so put together a mini selection of green things that I like. Some of them I actually own and some were selected from online ˝window˝ shopping. Spring is usually about pink and pastels, but this year, for me green is number one. 1. Casual khaki belt dress from Mango - this would be a great piece for urban safari look, 2. Places to go, people to see by Kate Spade is selection of beautiful photographs, quotes and advices about traveling. Very appealing coffee table book, suitable for daydreaming. 3. Chanel no. 19 is green floral fragrance, forgotten gem, which was created back in 1971. Something totally different from today's sugar factory creations, old, but still modern enough.  1. Beauty is life eyeshadow in shade Jungle - green golden-brown, for wild and seducive eye looks. First of all this German brand is totally new to me, I discovered it by coincidence. Th...

Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush: Sisters first

Apparently miracles do happen, because I actually managed to finish reading a book! A few months ago I was intrigued to buy ˝Sisters first˝ by Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush. I thought that their life for sure couldn’t be boring or average. Book also had really good reviews. I watched some interviews with Bush twins and they seemed to be so normal and funny. I didn’t know much about them, except the obvious things that their father and grandfather were presidents of USA. I must admit, my first thought about former first daughters was that they are super privileged and spoiled, living only from their family’s wealth. I had no clue that Jenna now works as TV correspondent and Barbara is cofounder of nonprofit health organization. Book is written really well and they wrote it by themselves without cooperation, what is a plus. Each chapter contains separate stories from Jenna and Barbara, so we get to know them also as individuals. A mean they went through very similar t...

Zoya: Godiva

I recently wear a lot of nude nail polishes. I’m on some kind of break of strong winter colors and slowly preparing for bolder spring/summer shades. To be honest, nude polishes can be boring sometimes. I sometimes give them some life with glittery top coat. But when softer shade already contains shimmer, can be just perfect. This is one of those. I saw Godiva when it first came out in 2013, but never had a chance to buy it. For its substitution I managed to get extra glittery, also pixie dust ¨Bar¨, but it wasn’t really that wearable. A few weeks ago I spot it on Ebay for reasonable price and immediately bought it. I must say I’m very happy with my purchase. It is a bit different from other pixie dust polishes I own. It is ˝softer˝ and doesn’t catch on my clothes (pantyhose approved). I find it also easier to remove and less stinky when applying and drying, which is a big plus. Let’s go to basics. Godiva comes from Zoya and is in pixie dust formula, which means that i...
