Winter pampering routine

Happy Friday everyone! Once a week I dedicate some time just to myself. To be exact, I’ve got time for me every afternoon, but usually Fridays are major days in pampering. I will describe my ideal winter scenario which I’m trying to stick to as much as possible. My session starts with putting hair ˝mask˝ on my hair - dry oil from Caudalie (next time I’ll but the one from Nuxe). Then I continue with some moving. My favorite way of working out is training on stair master, I try to do that twice a week. Sometimes I do some Pilates exercises, weight lifting or just dance on my favorite music in the dark. I don’t work out regularly and I’m not a sporty person, just trying to do something good for my body (I’m still in Ney year – new me faze), with periodic lack of motivation. Let’s move on from working out to the bathroom. Face peelings supposed to be done every week, but I don’t like them, so I often skip this part. Although my skin is quite greasy; I’m not obsessed with cl...

Revlon ultra HD matte liquid lipstick in ˝Seduction˝

I was never particularly drawn to trend of mate lips, especially after having bad experiences with this king of lipsticks. They were all very dry, mostly uncomfortable to wear and just didn’t suit me. Then I accidentally discovered HM mat liquid lipsticks from Revlon on some beauty blog and felt in love with swatches of Seduction instantly. I’m a big fan of ˝my lips but better˝ colors, but can hardly find nude lipstick that looks good on me. First I was still a bit skeptical about the color and mat effect, but when I finally got it, it was just right for me.      To my eyes, Seduction looks like orange-brown . It doesn’t dry totally, but just partly mat I would say, so there’s no need to worry that it would make you look washed off. It has specific creamy/fluffy formula. I would recommend applying it in thin layer, because it is pigmented enough, otherwise it would crumble. Trust me when I say that is easy and pleasant to wear, because I’m very picky and...

Unfinished bussines

This week I was planning to write something totally different, but the natural light for making pictures is terrible, so I decided to write about my bigger goals for this year. I have one enormous challenge to face, well its big for me, ˝normal˝ people or majority of population, doesn’t have this kind of problem. Other three are easier in some way and a bit less important, but still hard and I would be very glad if I make all these happen this year. pinterest.com Driving a car Tomorrow will be exactly 10 years since I got my driving license. I was never really enthusiastic about driving; I went to driving school because everyone else did. I was a slow learner, had over 40 hours of practice and took my practical exam twice. I didn’t like my instructor, but anyway at the end I become a solid driver I would say. I was never really relaxed in the car and trusted my skills. When I went somewhere for example with my mum, I always let her to drive. I rarely insisted that I ca...

Essie: Kimono over

Let’s start a New Year with a nail polish review! I'm not a big fan of dark nail polishes; my collection is mostly build of nude colors. But recently I decided to make some changes and buy makeup products that are out of my comfort zone. One of them was also dark plum, almost black polish from Essie, called Kimono over. This polish is from their fall collection from 2016, inspired by Japan and is (thankfully) the only one that caught my eye. If I'm not mistaken, it would become a part of permanent collection. Kimono over in my first Essie nail polish, I didn’t know what to expect since reviews about Essie’s products are so different. After reading about them on forums I got a feeling that this brand is not so popular, maybe even bad for your nails. But if it’s good for the Queen and apparently Mrs. Trump, it’s also good for me. I’m so used to OPI’s wide brushes and big caps which are very easy to hold in a hand, that I had some issues when applying. The brush...
