Do you remember when colored mascaras were in? I believe it was somewhere in the early 2000s, Maybelline had a whole palette of Great lash mascaras and according to Google, they were quite intensely pigmented.
I also remember images of princes Diana and her blue mascara in the 80s, but that was another era.
I am not a giant mascara lover, because I have sensitive eyes, but I wanted to try something new and different and Vamp volume mascara from PUPA had my attention immediately.
My selection was, at first sight very vibrant violet shade. This one seemed to look the most ˝natural˝. Well, I like green as well, but green lashes? Not that much. And there was also a blue option.
Of course, I was skeptical about it. Can this be even worn outside a nightclub? And where may I ask can I go dancing during this endless pandemic?
The violet shade is very subtle and discreet, you can slightly build it up by applying more coats, but I don’t like that. The formula is ok, nothing groundbreaking. It was holding up well during the day, without smudging, not even after a moderate workout. It gives some volume and length, but there are so much better and cheaper options. This mascara is very expensive for what it does, it costs around 16€.
It hardly shows up in my pictures, I wore one heavy coat of mascara.
