Yves Rocher mini haul

Every year I admire Christmas collection from Yves Rocher. Their products can be so visually appealing, especially those ornament like shower gels with lots of glitters which are unfortunately missing this year. When I decide to finally buy something from their holiday range, they discontinued them. But maybe it’s a good thing, because shower gel that I bought from current holiday collection is just not worth the money.

I’m talking about Clementine and spices limited edition shower/bath gel. It has absolutely nothing in common with my favorite shower gel – Brazilian coffee which is absolutely amazing, creamy and very aromatic. This one is just plain, watery and no festive at all. Like something you would buy for less than an 1€ and not 3,5€. It smells a bit like oranges, but very mildly. I will use it up, but I don’t like it. It’s a shame, because I was really looking forward to try this one and convinced that I will love it.

We started so negative, let’s switch to positive mood. Something I really, really like is Pear and Cocoa hand cream. It smells realistic to me; although my mum said it smells like glue (let’s ignore her opinion, because this is my blog). It sinks into skin very quickly and doesn’t leave that greasy feeling what drives me crazy with other creams. It provides instant relief to dry skin and your hands become baby smooth. The smell is strong only at the beginning, later it settles down to pleasant, light cocoa aroma. So it is office approved and would make a great gift. I would also like to try the body scrub from the same like, but I’m afraid it would be as bad as the shower gel.

The third product is luckily also a great one. I was in search for body cream for everyday use. My legs get super dry and itchy, but I don’t like to use body butters or oils every day. I found this gentle and very moisturizing Pure Calmille cream. Let’s just talk about the packaging, it’s super cute and so simple at the same time. This was the reason I spot it between other creams right away. Secondly I adore smell of chamomiles, which is mild, very pleasant and not overpowering. It’s hard to find body creams with by my opinion basic smells. I use it every night and a little goes a long way. This product has been in Yves Rocher range for a long time, since 1964 and I guess is popular enough to stay on the market.
