Shiny T-zone has always been my biggest concern. It always makes me look
and messy, greasy and feel uncomfortable. So I’m a big fan of all kinds of
mattifying products. Over the years the situation is slightly improving,
because I found some great products, but I’m not done with my battle yet. My
mission is to find products that would work for a whole working day (that means
8 hours for me). I think that’s science fiction for now, it will be easier when
my skin get’s older and consequently less oily, I think.
My latest addition to mattifiyng products is mattifiyng primer from
Makeup factory. This is the third primer I ever tried. First two were total
disaster, but this one is somehow better, but not ideal.
It comes in very practical, elegant and expensive looking glass
packaging with a pump. Well this wasn’t cheap, but it’s in upper drugstore
range. It’s typically looking pink-white primer, with medium thickness and creamy
consistency. It has very pleasant light smell, which fades away quickly. It
instantly smothens and mattifies the skin, so you get that magazine cover
look. But the sad thing is it doesn’t last long. Only 3 to 4 hours I would say.
This is more appropriate for some kind of event or going out, just for days
when you want to look extra good. Ok that’s every day I guess, but you know
what I mean, right? *I don't wear foundations, only compact powders and concelaer.
I tried to wear it alone, what turn out to be much better than putting
it over moisturizer. That is simply too much for my T-zone. Big no no is also
to put it under eyes, because it can mess up concelaer. I will use this up, butI
think I gave up with primers. Supposedly better ones are too expensive to even
try and I doubt they would work for me.
I haven’t found ingredients list, but on the website is written that
it’s suitable for all skin types, dermatology tested, paraben free and contains
vitamin E.
