Currently favorite YouTube channels

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m going to write about my currently favorite YouTube channels. I like to watch YouTube in my bed before going to sleep. It’s not really healthy habit, but it makes me happy, so it can’t be that harmful. I don’t have many subscriptions, because that would take me too much time to watch. Posts are originally nicely scheduled through the week, a few shorter videos during work days and usually one long one during weekend. My favorites types of videos are vlogs, but they have to be dynamic and without endless monologues. I’m a bit tired of makeup reviews, because they often make me buy things that I really don’t need. A good thing is that most of my subscribed channels are from USA, so a lot of presented makeup I can’t even order online in Europe...

JAMbeauty 89
Jessica is elementary school teacher from Indianapolis USA and does videos more for a hobby. Her main topic is beauty, but occasionally she focuses also on other things and that’s what makes her channel more interesting and special. She just had a baby girl, so in the past few months she posted a lot of pregnancy and baby related videos. My favorites are her famous daily vlogs, which she posts once a year, every day in December. In those days she becomes a part of my day and I get sad when the month ends. She often films along with her husband Taylor, who is a travel agent and also has his own YouTube channel. They are funny, great and always interesting couple. I also like that she is not one of those Youtubers who only present PR stuff or high end products. She is realistic, grounded and does honest reviews.

Coffee break with Dani
Dani is divorced, single mother of two young boys from Dallas. I don’t follow her for that long, so I don’t know a lot about her personal life. I think she went to culinary school, so she knows a lot about food and sometimes does a cooking video. Most often she posts a long vlog on weekend and some kind of makeup or fashion video during the week. I like her positive energy and hones confessions. She doesn’t hide her emotions and pretend that has a perfect life. Divorce must be very hard and tough, so I admire her strength and optimism. She is great motivator and a proof of the real girl power. Dani is big animal lover; she owns four adorable dogs and often includes them in her videos.

2 Orchids
This channel is my latest discovery. It’s a good example that you don’t have to be in your 20s to have a great time and make YouTube videos. Lauren and Karen are two very good friends who decided to share their passion for all things beautiful with us trough their vlogs and blog posts. I love this channel because it has diversity and doesn’t include tons of promotions and sent PR products. Lauren and Karen focus on beauty, fashion, food, decoration and entertaining. I like that they show their love for each season of the year. They both have busy family life, but always find some time for themselves and their hobbies what I think is very important. Although family is very important, you should never neglect yourself. It is obvious that they can afford something more than average families, but that doesn’t bother me. Maybe they should get more authentic and not trying to be so picture perfect.
