Hello! After some break from
blogging and summer vacation I'm back with a shopping list (great start, a?) of things that recently caught my eye. Of course there is always something
that we would like to buy, but at the end, what do we really need? Everything!
Right now! :) I made some fashion and makeup selection, there are also books
and some great smelling threats for upcoming fall. So let's get started!
I need to confess that I love
books, but actually don't read that much. It's a pleasure to own and look at
them, but there's never ´the right time´ to read ... Anyway, currently there
are two on my list. One is about Marily Monroe's life in a New York after she
took a break from Holywood and the other is about social problem of loneliness in a big city. Both have good reviews and are highly recommended. So check out Marilyn in New York by
Elizabeth Winder and The Lonely City by Olivia Laing,
both avaiable on Book
Depository.
Let's continue with some fashion. First part:
Late summer. Shirt dresses are still very popular, practical and overall
convenient. I found this classic with a modern twist in Esprit online store. I
think it’s wearable with heels or sneakers and you can’t go wrong with this
colour. Another thing I really like and actually even need is this mixed
leather shopper bag from Orsay. It’s available
for special price, 20€, so I hope it looks as good in person as on pictures.
Part two: colder days. There’s
never enough of coats and jackets in your closet. Sometimes you need something
thinner, sometimes warmer, then the cut is not right. I think a transitional
coat is good investment and would be often is use. I already tried this one, it
was very soft and comfortable. The reason I didn’t buy it is because it was mid
of July and I was sweating like pig. I’ll go back to Stradivarius for sure. Another thing I like from there is light
striped sweater. They have similar every year. I like it for that mustard
yellow part which makes it special – again classical piece with a modern twist.
Golden buttons always add some style.
Ebay is full of
cute and childish stuff for your phone. I recently ordered some regular pop up
holders for my tablet and now I want some cute ones also. This stuff is cheap
and makes me happy, so where’s the problem in that. I mean bear and glitters…
soooo good. I found this goodies here.
Makeup department. There’s a lot of things I
like from upcoming collections (I mean Dior is wonderful), but I narrowed down
my list, a lot. Artdeco is
presenting some new interesting eye colours, already in this month, so I might
check that out. Their fall collection is called ˝New classic˝. But for real treat I would like to buy myself (one
day) a new mat Jumbo Crayon lipstick
from Chanel, probably in
some nude colour. I saw review of shade ˝Discretion˝ on the YouTube the other day and it looked really
nice. You would probably find some cheaper dupes, but… you know… it’s fancy
lipstick.
In first week of September is a
release date of new Mon Guerlain eau de toilette by Guerlain and I’m very
anxious to try it. It contains notes of mandarin, lavender, jasmine and
vanilla. It supposed to be very simple and feminine. I have bad experiences
with lavender fragrances, but this one might be good, because I already like
the other fragrances from this line. I don’t know why I put night gown next to
perfume, but they somehow go together. I found this floral night shirt in H&M, it felt very
soft, breathable and comfortable. Long shirt is great for seasonal changing,
when you don’t feel hot anymore, but it’s not that cold yet… and it looks nice.
Yankee and Lush used
to be my great loves, but then I somehow got tired of them. I recently checked
their websites again and found some newer thing that I think I might like. Misty mountains,
a fresh scent from summer ˝Just go˝ collection, it contains notes of pine,
spearmint, patchouli, lavender…I think this would be pleasant and relaxing. Guardian of the
forest is interesting looking bath bomb from Lush. It
promises you to lost yourself in green glittery forest full of moss in the
comfort of your own bathroom. I think I’ll take a risk and allow myself to get
lost.
