I know, it’s almost mid-February and my blog is still ˝resting˝. I felt guilt and laziness, so I decided to finally get myself into work mode. Today I’m presenting you beautiful things that recently caught my eye. Some of them I’m actually planning to buy eventually, some are just for looking.
Let’s start with books and Brexit and I’m not joking. My favourite online bookstore is Bookdepository, based in England. By the end of this year, you can still buy books by great prices and with free worldwide shipping, but this might change. We don’t know what will happen, but if you do have a wish list, maybe you should place your orders in future months, just to be sure.
I have three books on my list: 1. Maybe you should talk to someone – Lori Gottlieb. Lori tells us a story about how is to be a psychiatrist and how does it look like when a doctor itself needs a help. This was a very brief description. 2. Brother and sister – Diane Keaton. Famous actress writes about her childhood and her brother who was problematic from young age and is facing with mental illness. This one supposed to be a very honest and beautifully written family portrait. 3. Everything beautiful in its time (still working title) – Jenna Bush Hager. Previous first daughter and before that first granddaughter is talking about her grandparents, their shared moments and all the wisdom they passed on her.
Straight to beauty department! Recently I rediscovered body butters from The Body Shop and felt in love again. I think something rosy would be good for this time of the year. Chanel Chance eau Tendre edp was big news a year ago, but in that time I was just not into it. Now I crave something like that, I like the edt version, but this one is richer and well rounded, so it’s even more enjoyable for me. Maybe I’m ready to commit to a small bottle. Born this way highlighter palette by Too Faced is something new this month. I haven’t see this in our stores yet, but I can’t wait to try it. If the middle shade is something similar to Hourglass powders, I want it!
There is something I like, but won’t buy… First we have sleeveless top from Zara, which is super cute, but also super short. I don’t know how to pull this off, maybe with white undershirt? Well maybe if it goes on sale. Then we have gorgeous jeans from Desigual with a problem, they come with ridiculous price tag. Again if they go on sale. And they are not very pleasant on touch, so don’t know if they are even comfortable. The last thing is cheap and cute – Alice bow band from HM. This thing is so practical for my crazy hair and look chic, so double win.
Some affordable jewellery for the end. These can be bought on zlatarnacelje.com and you can find some very similar if not the same pieces on co88collection.com. Both are made of steel. I felt in love in silver colour earrings and rose gold bracelet. I can’t decide which one to buy… rose gold and white is such great combination! Probably I’ll start with earrings and the maybe continue with bracelet for summer.
