Yankee candle Elevation: Rose hibiscus for spring 2021

I saw rose hibiscus between upcoming releases for 2021 months ago and it immediately caught my attention. I was just using hibiscus scented shower gel at that time and really liked it. Anyway, when it finally appeared on our Yankee candle website I just had to have it as soon as possible.

Did it meet my expectations? Yes!

First of all, I love the Elevation line, it is so elegant and just pretty to look at. I was skeptical about the strength of the scent of three wicked candle (it is the only size available here) because my room is not that big and am I prone to headaches. Burning just one wick at a time solves the problem and this candle will last me forever.

And finally, how does it smell like? Like strawberries, mixed with slightly tropical florals. It is mostly fruity, but also floral and fresh. Not too sweet or overpowering, just right and pleasant. Highly recommended!

It is time for another wish list or as I like to say it – things that recently caught my attention. Honestly, this is just a small fraction, but I’m too embarrassed to everything out there. The center of the list represents a linen lounge shirt from Intimissimi . I bought one last year and I am super pleased with it. Dior Forever Glow Maximizer - Peachy

Apparently this year I have been obsessed with highlighters and blushes because it is time to review another one – Forever Glow Maximizer by Dior in the shade PEACHY. If the Star Glow Filter is very subtle, this is not. It is not tacky and can be beautifully blended, but it’s a real highlighter that serves its purpose. Peachy – light, golden peach with gold and pink shimmer. On my light skin tone, I often wear this as a blush, because I think it works better on me like this. It gives that slight amount of warmth to my face and a subtle golden sheen. It can be built up, but it can also look too much. Now when I’m getting a bit darker I love to put it on top of my bronzer or/and use it as an eyeshadow to achieve a light monochromatic summer look. Indoor light Sunlight This is a great and versatile product, but I still prefer powder versions of Dior highlighters, they are just easier to work with and blend more effortlessly.
