LEGO creator: Botanical series - Flower bouquet

When I was a kid, I used to enjoy playing with Legos a lot. I remember building houses, futuristic skyscrapers, and for an unknown reason often creating my own restaurants. I preferred blocks over dolls, cars, and babies, they were my thing. Then eventually I lost my interest in playing like most teenagers do at some point, but at 33 bought a brand-new set of Lego creator Botanical series – Flower bouquet.

I had to shorten some tops and stems to fit it into my showcase

When I saw this, I was so impressed that I just had to have it eventually. Walking from the store with a big box of Legos felt so good and strange at the same time. I don’t care what other thought, I wanted this just for my inner child.

Instuctions were clear and easy to follow

This set contains just over 750 pieces. From it, you can build 10 large flowers and 5 pieces of greenery to complement your flower bouquet. I bought it in Muller drugstore for 49,90€.

It took me about two and a half hours to complete this little project and the whole process was very satisfying and nostalgic. I starched it into two rainy afternoons and it gave me so much unexpected happiness.

If you’re thinking about getting it to get it! I am sure you can find a place in your home to put it on display and just admire it. It is not super realistic, we’re talking about Legos here, but it still looks great and it is not kitschy. This can also make a great and innovative gift.

Wishes

It is time for another wish list or as I like to say it – things that recently caught my attention. Honestly, this is just a small fraction, but I’m too embarrassed to everything out there. The center of the list represents a linen lounge shirt from Intimissimi . I bought one last year and I am super pleased with it. It keeps me cool during these crazy tropical nights and feels very comfortable. I also very much enjoy their silk shirts, but the buttons are simply too annoying sometimes … Now, let’s go up and right to Dior. Another blush? Yes, please! Dior yet again reformulated their famous Backstage Rosy Glow blushes and added some new shades. I always desperately wanted to buy the lavender one, but it was not available in our country. But now something completely different caught my attention – muted, peachy, beige shade – Toffee . I swatched it already and it is pretty, but packed with gold glitter, so I need to try it again to be fully convinced. Smooth&Glow...

Dior Forever Glow Maximizer - Peachy

Apparently this year I have been obsessed with highlighters and blushes because it is time to review another one – Forever Glow Maximizer by Dior in the shade PEACHY. If the Star Glow Filter is very subtle, this is not. It is not tacky and can be beautifully blended, but it’s a real highlighter that serves its purpose. Peachy – light, golden peach with gold and pink shimmer. On my light skin tone, I often wear this as a blush, because I think it works better on me like this. It gives that slight amount of warmth to my face and a subtle golden sheen. It can be built up, but it can also look too much. Now when I’m getting a bit darker I love to put it on top of my bronzer or/and use it as an eyeshadow to achieve a light monochromatic summer look.  Indoor light Sunlight This is a great and versatile product, but I still prefer powder versions of Dior highlighters, they are just easier to work with and blend more effortlessly. I think that with liquid highlighters you always need to be...
