Is not the most ideal time for wearing lip products because we need to wear face masks very often, but anyway. Lipsticks have some kind of iconic position in our makeup bags and we are not ready to ˝skip them˝, not even during the pandemic.
My long-term favorites from so called higher drugstore are color lip shine lipsticks from Artdeco. They are some kind of hybrid between lipstick and gloss and have been around for quite a few years now. Their formula is super comfortable, non-sticky, very shiny, and long-lasting. You can apply them as sheer pop of color or upgrade to a bolder shade. For my taste, they are ideal, I just wish there were more shades available in our country.
Shiny diamonds (85) - was originally released last summer as a limited edition shade, and you can purchase it online, I am not sure if it is still available in drugstores.
On my lips, it shows up as sheer, cool pink with purple glitter, but from the packaging looks like it has quite a strong coral base and also gold glitter. When I was looking at it at the drugstore, I was convinced that I buying myself a shiny new glitzy coral for the summer, but I was wrong. There were no testers available due to safety regulations. Anyway, I still like it, the shade is fun and playful.
After a color wears off, you’re left with the glittery part for quite some time and that doesn’t transfer all around, which is great. It is not very subtle, but also not too bold either. I love how it brightens up my look but it is my free time lipstick for sure. I would not be comfortable wearing this for work.
