A few years ago, I got quite noticeable (and I believe permanent) sun spots on my forehead and sometimes they can make me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. I usually wear BB creams or light coverage foundations, but for my problem that is just not enough. I wanted something ˝stronger˝, for every day, without being too noticeable.
I heard about Celebration foundation by IT Cosmetics many times but was always afraid to order. Like many other makeup goodies, this is now available in our country, so you need to buy it from abroad and just keep your fingers crossed that you got the matching shade. And on top of everything, this is expensive even without delivering costs.
Anyway, I got it in the shade ˝Medium˝ and I am very happy with my selection. It might look darker in the pictures, but in person, it is on the lighter side.
This foundation is great for my mixed skin type. Although it is supposedly hydrating, it doesn’t make my T-zone greasy. I usually apply it lightly all over my face with a brush and then use a sponge for my ˝critical˝ areas. Application with a sponge provides full coverage, but it is not super noticeable. You just shouldn’t overreact with the application, building up a product might look quite heavy.
Everything blends out so nicely and quickly. My face is left with a slightly airbrushed and semi-matte finish that looks great and most importantly natural.
I always wear this alone, so I can’t tell you about compatibility with liquid foundations or BB creams. For my taste, it would be just too much. But I do wear this over my under-eye concealer and have no problems with creasing.
The packaging is not my favorite, because the product comes in a rubberized case which is hard to wipe and always full of dust and shimmery fingerprints.
