Bourjois: Always Fabulous Long Lasting Stick Founcealer

This time we have something exciting, but sadly disappointing. Well, at least for me. Lets’ get into it!

Bourjois Always Fabulous long lasting stick founcealer – this is a stick foundation and concealer in one product. It is supposed to be long lasting, and provide you with a flawless, semi-matte finish and full coverage. It is waterproof and transfer-proof. Ok, that was written on the label.

Here is what I have to say – It is a horrible product. Another disappointment from Bourjois. I am not surprised that they are disappearing from some markets.

I got a shade 400 beige rose which was a good match for me. And I also like that packaging and the idea behind it, it is very useful and looks nice. But the formula of the product does not work for me, and I tried it for a week.

It is heavy and very hard to blend, so as a foundation it did not work for me at all. Always noticeable, always sitting at the top of my skin.

As a concealer, it worked much better. It’s very handy working with a thicker stick, you’re quickly done. Blending was hard, but in the end, it didn’t look bad. But after a while, it got into my fine lines like crazy. No matter how hard I tried with setting powders, nothing worked. So I gave up.

I don’t like throwing things away and the idea behind this product is great. Imagine how nice would it be for traveling. But no, I don’t recommend buying this.

Wishes

It is time for another wish list or as I like to say it – things that recently caught my attention. Honestly, this is just a small fraction, but I’m too embarrassed to everything out there. The center of the list represents a linen lounge shirt from Intimissimi . I bought one last year and I am super pleased with it. It keeps me cool during these crazy tropical nights and feels very comfortable. I also very much enjoy their silk shirts, but the buttons are simply too annoying sometimes … Now, let’s go up and right to Dior. Another blush? Yes, please! Dior yet again reformulated their famous Backstage Rosy Glow blushes and added some new shades. I always desperately wanted to buy the lavender one, but it was not available in our country. But now something completely different caught my attention – muted, peachy, beige shade – Toffee . I swatched it already and it is pretty, but packed with gold glitter, so I need to try it again to be fully convinced. Smooth&Glow...

Dior Forever Glow Maximizer - Peachy

Apparently this year I have been obsessed with highlighters and blushes because it is time to review another one – Forever Glow Maximizer by Dior in the shade PEACHY. If the Star Glow Filter is very subtle, this is not. It is not tacky and can be beautifully blended, but it’s a real highlighter that serves its purpose. Peachy – light, golden peach with gold and pink shimmer. On my light skin tone, I often wear this as a blush, because I think it works better on me like this. It gives that slight amount of warmth to my face and a subtle golden sheen. It can be built up, but it can also look too much. Now when I’m getting a bit darker I love to put it on top of my bronzer or/and use it as an eyeshadow to achieve a light monochromatic summer look.  Indoor light Sunlight This is a great and versatile product, but I still prefer powder versions of Dior highlighters, they are just easier to work with and blend more effortlessly. I think that with liquid highlighters you always need to be...
