MAC Glow Play blush in Flowerescent

I’ve been obsessed with the effect of lavender blushes for a while now, but they are very rare at our drugstores. One of the closest options to get without ordering online was – Glow Play Blush from Mac in the shade Totally Synced, but when I finally decided to visit the Mac store, it was out of stock. The sales assistant suggested I should try something very similar, and that is how I bought the LE shade from the Wild Cherry collection for spring 2022 called Flowerescent.

Comparing the swatches that I saw online, I would say that the Flowerescent is a bit deeper and warmer, but it is a good dupe.

Flowerescent is a medium cool-toned pink and has a satin finish. It comes in special gel/cream bouncy formula that is easy to apply and blend, looks natural, and is very long-lasting. The best way to apply it is just by using your fingers. The pigmentation is light but buildable. It is a great option for pale girls like me, but also for other skin tones. It lasts on my cheeks through the whole day without a fail.

I can easily say that this is my favorite Mac product so far and in the most stunning packaging ever. Although that shade is not exactly lavender it is very close and looks beautiful. I wanted to step away from traditional pink blushes and get something a bit different. I haven’t tried this on my eyes yet, but I think this might be a great option for some kind of monochromatic spring look.
