DW Home - White Chocolate Ganache

After years of headaches and other disappointments, I think I finally found the one – this is my new love, White Chocolate Ganache candle by DW Home.

Like many great things in life, I found this by coincidence while checking for other things on Notino. I immediately put this on my wish list but kept delaying my purchase, because I own quite a few candles already. There were almost no online reviews, so I was skeptical about the strength of the throw of the candle which is always my main concern. My room is smaller and I’m prone to headaches, so stronger scents are not an option for me.

As the name says, this smells like buttery white chocolate with cream. Perfection! It is gourmand, but still light and fresh, not overpowering at all. It nicely fills up my room and gives it a little bit of soft chocolatey sweetness.

This is a medium sized, one wicked candle and will burn for approx. 33 hours. The packaging is very elegant and simple.

Now that they got my attention, I want to try out more from DW Home, their selection is huge. I think this could also be a great gift for the upcoming holiday season. A scent like this is quite a crowd-pleaser, so you will hardly get wrong with it.

Wishes

It is time for another wish list or as I like to say it – things that recently caught my attention. Honestly, this is just a small fraction, but I’m too embarrassed to everything out there. The center of the list represents a linen lounge shirt from Intimissimi . I bought one last year and I am super pleased with it. It keeps me cool during these crazy tropical nights and feels very comfortable. I also very much enjoy their silk shirts, but the buttons are simply too annoying sometimes … Now, let’s go up and right to Dior. Another blush? Yes, please! Dior yet again reformulated their famous Backstage Rosy Glow blushes and added some new shades. I always desperately wanted to buy the lavender one, but it was not available in our country. But now something completely different caught my attention – muted, peachy, beige shade – Toffee . I swatched it already and it is pretty, but packed with gold glitter, so I need to try it again to be fully convinced. Smooth&Glow...

Dior Forever Glow Maximizer - Peachy

Apparently this year I have been obsessed with highlighters and blushes because it is time to review another one – Forever Glow Maximizer by Dior in the shade PEACHY. If the Star Glow Filter is very subtle, this is not. It is not tacky and can be beautifully blended, but it’s a real highlighter that serves its purpose. Peachy – light, golden peach with gold and pink shimmer. On my light skin tone, I often wear this as a blush, because I think it works better on me like this. It gives that slight amount of warmth to my face and a subtle golden sheen. It can be built up, but it can also look too much. Now when I’m getting a bit darker I love to put it on top of my bronzer or/and use it as an eyeshadow to achieve a light monochromatic summer look.  Indoor light Sunlight This is a great and versatile product, but I still prefer powder versions of Dior highlighters, they are just easier to work with and blend more effortlessly. I think that with liquid highlighters you always need to be...
