When it comes to new makeup releases, I ‘am still the most excited, when I see a new upcoming collection of nail polishes. Like I need another shade… but that’s the story for some other time.
My personal favorite are those collections from fall and around holiday time, so now I’m in my special nail polish hunting mode.
OPI did not disappoint with Fall Wonders, it’s a wonderful mix of darks, neutrals, and bights. Don’t get it why so many reds for this time of the year, but I guess they just sell well.
I was good and selected just one shade – Clean Slate. It is dark, metallic grey with silver and occasionally even blue shimmer. It looks classy and modern. And although it may be a bid ˝edgy˝ for some, I think it is still office appropriate.
The formula is very thin but buildable. It applied nicely and evenly. For my pictures, I did two coats, but for a perfectionist, I assume it will take three coats. It was easy to remove, nothing special. I don’t find these metallics to be very long-lasting, so I would recommend a top coat.
If you are still in doubt - I think this shade is unique enough that it deserves to be in your collection!
