Dior Forever Glow Star Filter - shade no. 2

A few months ago, I was on a hunt for a nude highlighter. I wanted something subtle, work-appropriate, just something easy for everyday use. I am usually more into powder highlighters, but I guess I wanted to try something different, so I decided to get Forever Glow Star Filter from Dior in the shade no 2. Let’s just say here – Instagram made me buy it.
This shade is not an ideal highlighter for me, because it is very close to my skin tone, but with golden sheen added. I wanted it to be like this, so it looks even more natural.

I always use it alone, on my cheekbones, eyelids, or in a thin layer over my concealer to brighten up my under-eye area. It is easy to blend and also you can build up the intensity, mostly of that pearly sheen. It never looks crazy, always just elegant and subtle. I think on me it looks especially nice paired with a mat bronzer.

Cons:

-          I would prefer a dove foot applicator because one pump on the product can often be too much unless you want to mix it with a foundation;

-          Sometimes I can feel it on my cheeks, it can be a little sticky;

-          The price is up there, but we’re talking about Dior

Pros:

-          Versatile use;

-          A lot of shades;

-          Nice packaging;

-          Natural looking finish;

-          Hydrating enough to be used on the under-eye area
