Diorskin Nude Luminizer in Rose Glow

Today I want to share my thoughts about Diorskin Nude Luminizer in shade 005 Rose Glow. This was love at first sight already over a year ago, but I was afraid to purchase it. It’s a pricy product, so you ˝need˝ to do some more research before buying it. My first concern was that it will be too dark for my lighter skin tone, because on some pictures looks as very deep shade. In stores, under specific lights, can look very different. Second thing is that there are almost no swatches online. Everyone buys shade 001 or 002 which I think are not that special, but this rosy – bronze is more unique.  So I collected my courage and bought it, in worst case it can be used as an eyeshadow…

This luminizer quickly became one of my favorite makeup products. I truly enjoy it, but not because I would have an urge to justify its price or name. It is noticeable, but at the same time subtle enough to be worn every day. It is quite sheer shade of darker nude, rose - brown with metallic glow and reflecting shimmer. It is not over the top, but can be buildable, for bolder effect. I like to wear it with my bronzer, for that summer sun kissed glow.

It blends nicely and easily, I apply it with my RT setting brush. I just tap on the pan, because I’m afraid I’ll overdue it. It wears nicely during the whole workday. I don’t think it emphasizes my pores or wrinkles. It has some unnecessary - cream like artificial smell, but only when in the pan.
Powder comes in gorgeous, sleek metallic case with mirror and of course velvet pouch. I believe that Diorskin Nude Luminizer comes in six different shades, this one is second darkest. If you want to treat yourself with a fancy highlighter, this one is highly recommended.

Wishes

It is time for another wish list or as I like to say it – things that recently caught my attention. Honestly, this is just a small fraction, but I’m too embarrassed to everything out there. The center of the list represents a linen lounge shirt from Intimissimi . I bought one last year and I am super pleased with it. It keeps me cool during these crazy tropical nights and feels very comfortable. I also very much enjoy their silk shirts, but the buttons are simply too annoying sometimes … Now, let’s go up and right to Dior. Another blush? Yes, please! Dior yet again reformulated their famous Backstage Rosy Glow blushes and added some new shades. I always desperately wanted to buy the lavender one, but it was not available in our country. But now something completely different caught my attention – muted, peachy, beige shade – Toffee . I swatched it already and it is pretty, but packed with gold glitter, so I need to try it again to be fully convinced. Smooth&Glow...

Dior Forever Glow Maximizer - Peachy

Apparently this year I have been obsessed with highlighters and blushes because it is time to review another one – Forever Glow Maximizer by Dior in the shade PEACHY. If the Star Glow Filter is very subtle, this is not. It is not tacky and can be beautifully blended, but it’s a real highlighter that serves its purpose. Peachy – light, golden peach with gold and pink shimmer. On my light skin tone, I often wear this as a blush, because I think it works better on me like this. It gives that slight amount of warmth to my face and a subtle golden sheen. It can be built up, but it can also look too much. Now when I’m getting a bit darker I love to put it on top of my bronzer or/and use it as an eyeshadow to achieve a light monochromatic summer look.  Indoor light Sunlight This is a great and versatile product, but I still prefer powder versions of Dior highlighters, they are just easier to work with and blend more effortlessly. I think that with liquid highlighters you always need to be...
