Yet another expensive list

Welcome to May! A brand new fresh month also means a great excuse to make yet another wish list of things that recently caught my attention. And this is also my birthday month, so I can splurge a bit more. No? Let’s start with something puffy and blue-  Pinko Quilted Nappa leather flat bag . This looks fancier than your usual everyday bag but can be totally worn on many occasions, even if you just go grocery shopping. Why not? Dark blue is gorgeous, very fashionable, and would pair nicely with a plain T-shirt and jeans or your favorite spring dress. Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Lumiere eye and cheek palette  – it is that time of the year again and Estee Lauder is out with another Bronze Goddess collection. This palette surprised me because it is not that warm and bronzy. I love that they also included cool-toned shades and that way it is more versatile. I don’t like the ˝cheek˝ part in the middle, I think it is not practical- I mean how can you reach it with a face brush? Anywa...

Soul Shimmering Body Oil - The Ritual Of Karma By Rituals

Maybe you noticed that I put this product on my wish list a few weeks ago and not it is all mine. Today I’m going to write about  Soul Shimmering Body Oil – The Ritual of Karma by Rituals .  I was craving to own something like this for weeks. It was super boring and cold outside and I wanted something uplifting to cheer me up, but also to do something good for my body.  First of all, I love the products from Ritauls. This is in fact a simple, but a quality brand that never disappoints. I never owned an oil like this, because I was always scared of glitters and heavy scents, but this is just great. Soul Shimmering Body Oil is gentle in every aspect. It is lightweight, the shimmer in it is subtle, and the scent is pleasant and not overpowering. It is a little vacation in a bottle and you shouldn’t wait for the summer to try it. It is fast absorbing and once it dries down your skin is delicately covered with tiny shimmers, nothing too fancy, but still noticeable. The scent ...

Scrub Energisant Purifying Scalp Scrub by Kerastase review

What is your initial thought when you hear about using a scrub for your scalp instead of your usual shampoo? At first, I hated the idea. It sounded almost uncomfortable to me, but thankfully I changed my mind and decided to splurge (with my coupon code) on  Scrub Energisant from Kerastase . This is made for scalp prone to oiliness and dandruff. It exfoliates and detoxifies, also cleans the build-up, and removes impurities. Key ingredients are:  sea salt minerals, vitamin B6,  and  salicylic acid . It is recommended to use it once a week on your wet hair, replacing your regular shampoo. Then you can continue with your regular routine (conditioner, hair mask, oil…). Here are my thoughts…. After the first use, I was blown away. It was phenomenal. I loved the gentle massage of my scalp, my hair never felt and looked so clean. My roots were lifted for two days, my scalp did not smell as quickly, and everything was just perfect. After the second use, a week later, the resu...

Wishlist for beauty and soul

Hello there! Something new today from the category of things that caught my attention recently or – my little wish list. It may look short and innocent, but in reality, it is still quite expensive. Let’s have a look at what is on my list this time. The sun, the sea and the stars by Iulia Bochis –  I am a sucker for pretty books and this one is no exception. I follow Iulia on Instagram for some time now and love her work. She equips her wonderful illustration with motivational sayings and ancient words of wisdom and that really work for me when I’m having a bad day. This book will be great for my mini meditation and a great tool for times when I need something to lift my spirit. Scandal Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier  – I just recently find out about this fragrance and I desperately want to try it. Supposedly it has a lot in common with Hypnotic Poison which I love. The only problem is that I can’t find it anywhere. Ok, I still know about a place or two where I can check, but...

Top beauty finds of 2022

Hello gorgeous reader and welcome to the first blog post of the year 2023! Today I’m going to quickly present you my favorite beauty items purchased in the past year, so let’s dive into my list. Braun FS 1000 face epilator  – this little helper made such a difference for me because I was used to doing my ˝routine˝ with my regular razor which was not very practical and just too big. I use it on my upper lip, between my eyes, and on my nose. It is super-fast, compact, affordable, and travel-friendly. Just make sure to generously moisturize your skin after using it and you’ll be fine Last year I found my perfect daily moisturizer with SPF –  Urban Environment Age Defense by Shiseido.  This is super light for my oily skin and almost works as a primer. I was a little skeptical about SPF 30, but many articles say that 30 is high enough for every day, you just need to reapply regularly. Definitely my holy grail! Take the day off cleansing balm from Clinique  is one of the ...

Dior Homme Intense 2011 fragrance review

It was late August and I was already highly enthusiastic about getting myself a new fragrance for colder months. It’s a huge thing for me because I love rich, wintry scents and cannot wait for the proper weather to wear them. I could not find anything special. Everything was so overly sweet and generic. How many new releases of the orange flower-vanilla combo can there be? So I told myself that if I can’t find anything great among women’s fragrances, let’s go to explore the ˝other˝ side.  I was surprised to discover how many women like to wear fragrances marketed toward men. I got so many great suggestions online, like the whole new world just opened for me. Ok, I am overreacting here, but why didn’t I remember this sooner? Because I was afraid of those over-colony scents without character that we so often ˝meet˝ on the streets. This was the most frequent suggestion to try and it get me at first try. I've known the bottle from advertising for years, but never found a solid reason t...
