First impressions: Living proof No Frizz

My hair is very frizzy and consequently I hate foggy or humid days. You know what I mean. Your hair can be perfectly styled and polished in the morning when you get ready, but once you’re outside, only good old ˝scrungy˝ can help you. All at the sudden you look like a mess. I often think: She can’t even control her hair, how does she manage her schedule? Ok now I’m overreacting. Anyway I always want to try something new, something that might possible work for a change.   So I ordered Living proof no frizz shampoo and styling cream. Like most of things that people rave about on Instagram or YouTube, products by Living proof are not available in our country. If I’m not mistaken, there are also harder to find in whole Central Europe, so you need to buy it online. And here we get to the big problem. Well at least with my order this was the case. The packaging of shampoo is not really delivery friendly. It is very practical to use, rubberized plastic looks expensive and chic,...

Thierry Mugler: Angel Muse edp

Lately I've been in a mood for sweet fragrances like never before. I don’t know what happened, it’s not even the right time of the year for testing heavy gourmands, but I desperately wanted something containing chocolate notes. I remember the first time I tested Angel Muse , it was in November last year. I thought this fragrance is something the most horrible I ever tried. Who wears this overly sweet and loud perfume? It’s for young teenagers! That was last year. Now I adore it and wear it every day, even though it’s July. I don’t care. For now I’ve been wearing it just at home, because I don’t want to cause headaches to people around me. It is noticeable, youthful, statement fragrance. Not really office safe. Let’s get to the notes written on Fragrantica: Top notes: Grapefruit, Pink pepper Middle notes: Hazelnut cocoa spread Base notes: Vetiver, Patchouli I don’t know yet how will this behave in winter, but I would describe it as Nutella mixed with patc...

Diorskin Nude Luminizer in Rose Glow

Today I want to share my thoughts about Diorskin Nude Luminizer in shade 005 Rose Glow. This was love at first sight already over a year ago, but I was afraid to purchase it. It’s a pricy product, so you ˝need˝ to do some more research before buying it. My first concern was that it will be too dark for my lighter skin tone, because on some pictures looks as very deep shade. In stores, under specific lights, can look very different. Second thing is that there are almost no swatches online. Everyone buys shade 001 or 002 which I think are not that special, but this rosy – bronze is more unique.   So I collected my courage and bought it, in worst case it can be used as an eyeshadow… This luminizer quickly became one of my favorite makeup products. I truly enjoy it, but not because I would have an urge to justify its price or name. It is noticeable, but at the same time subtle enough to be worn every day. It is quite sheer shade of darker nude, rose - brown with metal...

Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse Boost

Prodigieuse boost is newer line from well know French brand Nuxe . It was presented in the late summer last year, but in our country just recently. This line is targeted towards women in their late 20s to early 40s to fight first signs of ageing, fight oxidative stress and pollution from environment. Creators searched for inspiration in popular Korean beauty. I have mostly good experiences with Nuxe, but hate their cult product - dry oil. Most of their creams are very perfumed and these are not exception, so if strong smell bothers you, do try testers first. Aroma is nice, quite girly – think about white flowers bathing heavy sugar. I bought two products from new line, eye balm and energising primer , which quickly became my favorite. Lately I’ve been obsessed with eye creams and even built my mini collection. I must say this is not the best one. First of all I don’t like the packaging. It is nice to look at and seems practical, but sometimes the pump simply doesn’t wor...

Epic wishes

I decided to have some fun (and distract myself, because I'm nervous)  and put together my current favorites in collage. *I'm aware that theese three things are not ment to be worn together. 1. Beaded bag from Zara - I really like this trend of  ˝natural˝ bags this year, so I woul like to own one of them. This one is not avaiable in stores for now, so I doubt I'll own it, but maybe I find something very simillar. 2. Adidas Originals SST TT jacket - this is very classic model and I think it looks cool and chic.  I'm not a tracksuit person, I would pair it with my jeans and wear it in my free time. 3. Lazzarini balerinas - pointed flats are so nice to look at, but I doubt they are comportable enough to wear it for longer period of time. I own a very cheap pair and would like to try on more quality model, to know, if there's any difference. 1. As big lavander person,  I wuld like to try Honey lavander gleato candle by Yankee candle . I read some review...

CND Vinylux: Vagabond

What do you think about yellow nail polish? My feelings about it are mixed, but sometimes it just feels so good to wear something different, maybe even bolder if you want. Yes, it can look inappropriate or even ugly, but it can also make you feel free. I would describe Vagabond as quite muted, slightly mustardy yellow. It is out of my comfort zone and far away from being office friendly, but somehow I like it. This is my weekend polish and color that makes me happy. So mission off this shade is completed. CND Vinylux is new to me and I’m not very impressed with their quality. Maybe it varies from shade to shade, but this polish chips very quickly, if you don’t use their top coat. It supposed to be long lasting, but sadly not on its own, it’s a two- step system. Color applies patchy, uneven and requires some patience and extra work. This can be very annoying, especially if you’re used to work with top polishes. Formula is very thin, so you’ll need three coats...

Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet

Usually I don’t crave fresh, floral scents, but for spring I wanted something totally different and step out of my oriental cloud. I desperately needed a break, because I was literally sick of heavy, patchouli based perfumes which were wearing me and not the opposite. Selection of pink, girly juices is huge; I decided to give a chance to Dior for the first time. Blooming bouquet was first introduced in 2014 and has established itself quite well in the massive perfume scene. It comes as eau de toilette and is delicate and shy. Very pleasant, but not groundbreaking. I strongly think that its name is its savior, otherwise it would be already forgotten. I would describe it as water infused peony with some fruit. Sadly, at some point fruity part turns sour on my skin, but that phase doesn’t last long. I really like that it’s lightly sweet and refreshing. I think this is leaning more towards younger crowd. It is very easy to wear and definitely a safe blind buy. Be prepar...
