First impressions: La Roche Posay Anthelios - Oil correct with SPF 50

I truly struggle with finding a good daily moisturizer with high SPF for my combo skin. Most of them are just too heavy and I get oily super easy. That is the main reason I often avoid wearing my SPF regularly, which is a bad thing. The most success I had so far was with the brand Olival and their Professional face cream with SPF 50 (you can find my review here ) and different products from La Rocher Posay (my review of Anthelios Anti-imperfections corrective gel cream with SPF 50 is here ).  I loved their Shaka fluid! So this year I decided to try another product from the La Roche Posay Anthelios line - simply named Oil correct . I like that the name is so simple. This is a gel with SPF 50 that supposedly visibly reduces pores and corrects imperfections. Here are my pros and cons after the first week of use: PROS: it is not oily doesn't leave white traces does not irritate my skin SPF 50 blends nicely with my makeup practical packaging CONS: it takes very long to absorb comp...

Jump towards new season

New season is calling for new challenges, opportunities, and some changes. Here are some little new examples of how to bring something new and fresh into your daily life.  Let's start with fragrances. Summer is not that far away and here's a great way how to bring yourself some vacation mode into your busy office life - La Nuit Tresor Nude by Lancome. This fragrance is full of sweet coconuts and vanilla, accompanied by the freshness of bergamot and roses. It is simple, but stunning and appropriate for work. if you are thinking about a beach vacation, you might give this one a try. Talking about the beach... what about our bikini bodies? Are we ready? if you need that extra boost of workout motivation, you might buy yourself a pair of patterned leggings. Colorful patterns will surely lift your spirit and give your workout some kick. It feels better when you're wearing something fun. These are JAN leggings by Desigual, now found on a sale on Zalando. Now, when we'll be ...

Disappointment over Chanel fragrances

Here’s my quick behind the scene story: My love for Chanel fragrances started about four years ago. I was so curious about their famous perfumes, so I slowly started to explore this luxurious name. You need to take it slowly with Chanel, because it is expensive. I absolutely can’t stand their best sellers, but I surely found my own favorites. So in the past years, I built my mini Chanel collection, which now contains six fragrances. My most loved one is No. 5 Eau Premiere and the second one comes from Les Eaux line – Paris-Venise. And here my love towards the brand ends for now. I think that Chanel got too boring and too flat for me. I get so much more joy from other, different kinds of fragrances right now. But anyway, this is a matter of taste, I have other complaints about the brand to share. The quality of the bottles they sell their perfumes in is very poor. I’m talking about the regular line here, not the Les Exclusifs for example, I am sure those are better. Here we have my belo...

CAUDALIE: Vinosource-Hydra Moisturizing Mask review

I am not a huge fan of facial masks, but every now and then I like to pamper my skin a bit and give it that something special.  I bought this  Vinosource-Hydro mask from Caudalie  for the second time now. In the meantime, it received some ˝updating˝ and now comes in more inviting, bright pink packaging and a higher price tag. Anyway it is still one of the best and here are my reasons why: Practical tube (fully recyclable) – you just apply the amount you need, there is no waste and overreacting with the application, because you would need to use a certain amount A little goes a long way – I find it quite thick and rich, but not oily Appropriate for oily and sensitive skin You can apply it under your eyes or on your eyelids, which I find super useful Very lightly scented (it smells like clay, mixed with cream to me) Nicely softens and moisturizes the skin Easy to wash off Natural ingredients This product often saved my skin, especially my eyelids from that terrible winter r...

Lookbook: Strong in style

This time I played with contrasts, acryl, and bold pattern. I wanted to style a bit edgy, but still elegant look that would easily catch some attention. Spring is just around the corner so add some freshness to your favorite black pieces. This body from Desigual looks amazing, but there is one catch- it has open back. That looks good, but I don't find it very practical for myself. It is still on my wish list anway. BAG: Jimmy Choo Embellished black Candy acrilyc clutch PANTS: Only Onlveronica Pisa cigaret trousers BODY: Desigual by Christian Lacroix BLAZER: Zara SHOES: Nly by Nelly Vapor Stiletto

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer - 020 Light Beige

You probably agree that finding a really good concealer is a tough task. There is always something wrong with them. Then we often turn to expensive ones, with high hopes and expectations, and soon find out that those are often ever worse…  Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage  waterproof concealer is an excellent and overlooked drugstore choice. It has been around for a while, actually for years, but it never caught enough of my attention. I don’t have a lot of positive experiences with Catrice, their products are often a miss for me, so that’s why I often skip their shelves. I got it in the shade  020 – light beige , which was the second ˝dark˝ shade in our drugstore, I believe they had four of them, but otherwise, it is available in 9 different colors. PROS: great medium coverage easy to blend doesn’t crease long-wearing doesn’t emphasize my fine lines price easy to find   CONS: strong smell a limited selection of shades This one has slightly ornange undertones,...

Missha: M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX in shade 23

At this moment believe me or not, I don’t own a single liquid foundation. I gave up on them for a while and rely entirely on my powder foundations and still strongly popular BB creams. M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX  is the first product I ever bought from famous Korean brand Missha, so I am not familiar with the original formula – M Perfect Cover BB and cannot compare them. This is supposed to be some kind of upgraded version, with additional anti-age benefits and higher coverage. I got mine in  shade 23  and in travel size because I needed to try it first before committing to the whole size, which can be, as we all know quite expensive, especially if you buy the wrong shade. This BB cream comes in 7 shades and number 23 is right in the middle, but still very bright. I can use it only now when I’m in my pale phase. The next shade is number 25 which looks very dark at first glance, but maybe it would work for me. I use this mostly on my T-zone, to cover up my sunspots and un...
